Chistmas Garland

Cute Christmas garland with the bright colours of red, pink and whites.

Had so much fun and it's very relaxing for me making these yoyo flowers.  Just joined them together to form a garland depending on how long you want the gartland to be.  I even added a little red ribbon onto the garland to make it look more lovely.

As you can see, the colours of the garland matches really well with my Christmas stokings.

Have a jolly day!

Felt Heart Keychains

This is my first attempt trying to make little hearts felt keychains.  I wanted something simple for the pattern.

For this one, went for a softer colour of pinkish peach colour and i added a crochet flower with ribbon on it.

This particular red heart is my favourite with embroidery flowers.  It's simple and yet the colour is bold and striking.  Can't wait to make a little felt heart garland with little hearts on it.

Christmas stokings

How cute are these Christmas stokings.  It's a easy project to make and no sewing needed just a really hot glue gun.

Draw the picture of the stocking that you want to cut out.  I'm using felt for the stockings.  No measurement needed, you can choose whatever measurement that you want for your stockings.  Mine is about 10cmx17cm.

Use a hot glue gun to glue everything together.  I did cut out some white felt to add on to the stocking.  You can design  any pattern that you like

(Please don't mind the photo) For me, I like to put the ribbons first before designing the pattern on the stocking.  For the designs, just be creative you can cut any pattern of felt or colours to design your stockings. Use the glue gun to glue it on the stockings.

I make three designs for the stockings.  The designs doesn't have to be perfect.

Happy Day..

Flower Felt Bookmark

How lovely are these flower bookmarks.  I was asked to make these for a birthday party as gifts.

I love using more vibrant colours for the felt flowers because it's more fun for parties.  I might make these bookmarks for my online shop but I'm still working on the designs.

Have a nice day...

Sweet Make Up Purse

For this project, I took out my old jeans that I'm not wearing anymore to make a simple purse out of it.

To create this sweet purse, I decided to add some white lace to bring out the denim colour and sew some yoyo flowers onto it.  To make the yoyo flowers to stand out more, I added some blue ribbon roses too.

So now I have a my sweet little denim make up purse to store all the makeup in my handbag.

Cute N Colourful DIY for Children

Another fun project that I did with my son over the past week.  I love this colourful wormy container.

The materials that you need are, any empty container that you like, some colourful felt pom pom balls, some wiggling eyes and cut out some felt leaves.

Glue your pom pom balls to form a worm than glue the eyes onto the pom pom.

Remember to give the worm a little cute antenna

Place the leaves on the container before you glue the worm on it.. so you can position the worm and the leaves as you wish.

Finally glue the worm onto the container.

And there you are.. a wormy little fun container for kids and as little gifts too.  Easy and great project to do with your kids.

Halloween Ideas

We don't celebrate Halloween over here and it's not a big celebration.  I wish we can have a celebration because it is fun for the kids.  So just to set the mood for Halloween, I did a little mummy head pecil container.

For the container, look for an empty recycle tin can and make sure there is no sharp edges.  Find a cute fabric for this project.  I found this super adorable skull and hearts fabric.

For the mummy head, take a black felt ball and glue the eyes onto it first before wrapping the head.

After that, go ahead and mummify the heads with a white ribbon.  Glue the ribbon in place as you go along.

Next, wrap the fabric and glue onto the tin.

Finally glue the two mummy heads together.  I added a black ribbon for the trimming.  What a cute idea for the kids for Halloween.

Sweet DIY Container

Sweet Containers with lovely felt flowers.

I love the shape of the container but I don't like the colours of it and it looks kind of plain.  So I found these DIY paper cloth sticker from Japan..

It's really easy to use,  just cut out the shape that you want, then stick onto the container .  Must be fast when applying on it.  The only downside was the sticker wasn't sticky enough and if it's needed, you need to glue it with a hot glue gun.

Decorate it with some nice felt flowers and glue it to the top of the container,

I bought another container and with different fabric cloth and felt flowers to match it..

There you are, lovely container to storing things and it will make a lovely gift too.

Happy day!

My Blogging Days

Being a mom and love doing creative projects really makes me a better person and I'm really enjoying planning and making more lovely DIY and sharing with the community.

After being absent for the longest time from blogging because of some personal matters and I was depressed with myself because I stopped completely on the things that I love doing, that is crafting.  When I've decided to continue my blogging again, I found a brand new community of bloggers and this makes me realize that I'm missing so much things in my life.  I found that the community are full of crafters that are so talented and they create gorgeous and lovely crafts.  I was so impressed with their ideas and the work they put into it.  I feel so amateur compared to them but I'm so happy because finally I found a great community and I'm always looking forward to view their creations and ideas.  I should have started sooner then I wouldn't missed out so many things.

Now I'm happy and blessed even though my circle of friends are small but I really enjoy creating this blog and appreciate if someone like my blog or comment on it.  I hope I will not stop blogging in the future.

So go crafters!

Summer Quilt Blanket

Me and my mom did this quilt blanket long time ago and it's an easy quilt to make because the size of the rectangle quilt is big and it was not so taxing for me to form this blanket.  We tried making the hecksagon quilt but we never got the time to finish it.  How sad...

How fun are these colours.  The colours looks so summery and happy to look at.  I know summer has ended but the place where I'm staying, it's summer the whole year round and the weather it's hot and humid.  So this is the perfect quilt for me as it's thin and light weight.

A mug and A book

Found his lovely mug and this note book at Daiso and it's only RM5 for each item.  What a coincidence that the pattern on both items are similar.  Love the colours and patterns on it.. Such a good find and extremely happy now.

Have a Jolly Day!

Cute Pencil Case

I was so delighted when I saw this fabric.  How cute is this gangnam style fabric right?  My son was begging me to buy it and make something out of it.  So I decided to make a pencil case for him.

I added some lining to it so it's more durable.  Now he is a happy boy showing off  his pencil case to everyone at school and his classmates are admiring it..
