Clay Owls

We tried something new this week.. We managed to make these owls out of clay.  Actually my hubby helped me on this project.  It looks easy but It's really hard to make especially shaping the owl and making the cute eyes and tiny noses.  But I think we did a pretty good job considering it's our first time experimenting with clay.  What do you think? Let us know and have a great weekend.

Animal Pins

I managed to make a  few felt animal pins for embellishment.  I really like the felt monkey,  it looks super cute and the little lion ( just for your information, it's a sweet lion and not a bear because someone commented it looks like a bear/sun)

You can make a boring recycle bag and transform it into a cute bag by pinning the felt animals onto it and you are good to go..

As you can see, Jeremy is doing some modelling with the bag.. Here comes another weekend again. Have a nice weekend and have fun.

Paper Coloured Birds

Look at these bold and colourful birds which is a super easy project to be done with your kids... I bought a whole bunch of coloured papers and stickers which comes with it and just be creative with it... Just create the birds according to your liking and cut and paste the coloured papers to make out some cute birds.  I love to mix and match  the coloured papers to create some bright and colourful birds and it makes me happy looking at them..

My favourites, the penguin and the owl...

Ms Daisy owl..

As I'm into collecting owls lately, so why not try to make my own owl using some left over flannel cloths.  I'm using  felt for the the eyes and beak and the ribbon onto the body.  As you can see, I've already named her Daisy cause she look like a  Ms Daisy to me with all the cute colourful daisies on her.  The colour makes her look cheerful and happy too.

My Injured Owl

My heart was so hurt when this happened...

Look at my poor little olw.  She fell and hurt badly and broken into pieces..  what  a pity and the owl is not even one day old.

So I've decided to make some felt flowers to cover up the broken pieces.
I even cover up her back with some leaves so she will look lovely from behind too..

Now she's looking lovely sitting there among my books and with a hot pink flower on her.

Have a nice day...

Little Treasures

Found all these cute earrings at a little kiosk and  the price is really reasonable.  Only RM10 for three pairs, so i went crazy with it and buying every owl i could find.

Bought four pairs of owls and two floral earrings... planning to buy more in the future.

The pink and the mint owls are my favourites.

Lovely hair clips which i took apart and redo the clips with jewel stone and sequins flowers.

Happy Dance!

Random Things I Luv

These are a few of my things which I love and adore.. Some of the things which I have been collected thru the years..

My favourtie nail polish at this moment..It's a soft lilac colour from OPI.  Cute little necklace that i bought for my birthday and it's really tiny and delicate with a bird, a rose and a pearl (whimsical).  And finally my coin purse which looks like some grandma's purse but i just love the design of it and looks very vintage looking.

Some cute pictures of owls again..It's actually some left over wall paper and not in used anymore, so thought of making good used of it.

Found some vintage container at a shop and i'm going to buy lots more for my collection.

Hate my old hair pins..so i took everything out and add in my own stones and now it looks great on my hair..

Have a great day!

My Flowery Projects

My new obsessions, my flowers and my owls.  Love the idea of decorating candles with flowers. Below is my cute little white owl sitting next to the candle and of course, i just need to put a pretty flower to add some colour to it..

Oh.. and I have a name for this particular owl.  Introducing Mr Pepper.

No too sure about the colours of the flowers but it's suitable for the festive season.
