Paper Piecing

Had been absent from blogging for the past few years.  Actually I miss my blog but there were so many things happened during the few years.  Hopefully I'm able to blog again. 

My very first blog for this year 2020 is about paper piecing. I love sewing these because it is very therapeutic for me. As you can see I will fussy cut most of the fabrics and I just love how it turns out.  Paper piecing can be addicted for me but it can be time consuming too. Will share in my next blog post regarding more projects on paper piecing.

Owlies

Making these adorable owlies again....  thank you for a great support and these owls will be going to great homes.  The owls measured about 18cm (W) and 17.5cm(H).  It will be a great gifts for babies or children. Have a pleasant day everyone..

Felt pillows

This was a project that i did like one year ago and I've totally forgotten about this post.  I did some felt flower cushions for the family hall.  I love the pink and grey felt flowers and i think the combination of colours are very sweet.   It's  a Super easy DIY craft and cute felt flowers to be added as an embelishment to your cushions and a cute decorations to your home.

My Mini Owls

My little fabric owls are ready for this coming festive season.  I love the mix and match colours of fabrics on these owls.  They really looked adorable and cheerful with the vibrant colours.  I just can't stop making them :).  A really great and cute gifts for Christmas too.

Paper Coloured Birds

Look at these bold and colourful birds which is a super easy project to be done with your kids... I bought a whole bunch of coloured papers and stickers which comes with it and just be creative with it... Just create the birds according to your liking and cut and paste the coloured papers to make out some cute birds.  I love to mix and match  the coloured papers to create some bright and colourful birds and it makes me happy looking at them..

Polka Dot Day

Firstly, I'm obsessed with polka dots.. I don't know why but i think the polka dots pattern are really cute..  I bought these little plain boxes to send it as gift boxes,  so i added some yoyo flowers  to dress up the little boxes.  The colour of  reds and the blacks really compliment each other really well.. My friends just adore the little boxes with the simple idea of  DIY.

Little Felt Bird Hearts

Little Felt Bird with lovely and colourful hearts..

This was a fun project to make for my friend's daughter...  I love the cute little bird and I love mixing colourful felts together for the hearts.  Hoping to make more of these in the future.

Butterfly

I fell in love with this sweet felt butterfly and it will be so lovely for a baby nursery room or for a room decoration. I did the felt butterfly with the combination of all the sweetest pastel colours of blue and pink. Christmas Hearts

I did this Christmas Hearts as a git for someone special.

I went for the red felt roses because this reminds me of the festive season with lots of red..

For the rest of the hearts, I kept it simple because i want the roses to stand out on its own. Hope this will cheer up someone whenever she receive this hearts of love.

Felt Hearts

I'm really into making felts lately and I hope that it will not bore you with my felt projects. Two of my favourite things, craft felts and hearts and more hearts...

I just love making these felt hearts because it looks really adorable.  I love the sweet combination of the lovely colours together.  I even added some cute flower and bow buttons on it... I think it's a perfect gift for someone who loves cute and girly things..

Felt Heart Keychains

This is my first attempt trying to make little hearts felt keychains.  I wanted something simple for the pattern.

For this one, went for a softer colour of pinkish peach colour and i added a crochet flower with ribbon on it.

This particular red heart is my favourite with embroidery flowers.  It's simple and yet the colour is bold and striking.  Can't wait to make a little felt heart garland with little hearts on it.

Christmas stokings

How cute are these Christmas stokings.  It's a easy project to make and no sewing needed just a really hot glue gun.

Draw the picture of the stocking that you want to cut out.  I'm using felt for the stockings.  No measurement needed, you can choose whatever measurement that you want for your stockings.  Mine is about 10cmx17cm.

Use a hot glue gun to glue everything together.  I did cut out some white felt to add on to the stocking.  You can design  any pattern that you like

(Please don't mind the photo) For me, I like to put the ribbons first before designing the pattern on the stocking.  For the designs, just be creative you can cut any pattern of felt or colours to design your stockings. Use the glue gun to glue it on the stockings.

I make three designs for the stockings.  The designs doesn't have to be perfect.

Flower Felt Bookmark

How lovely are these flower bookmarks.  I was asked to make these for a birthday party as gifts.

I love using more vibrant colours for the felt flowers because it's more fun for parties.  I might make these bookmarks for my online shop but I'm still working on the designs.

Sweet DIY Container

Sweet Containers with lovely felt flowers.

I love the shape of the container but I don't like the colours of it and it looks kind of plain.  So I found these DIY paper cloth sticker from Japan..

It's really easy to use,  just cut out the shape that you want, then stick onto the container .  Must be fast when applying on it.  The only downside was the sticker wasn't sticky enough and if it's needed, you need to glue it with a hot glue gun.

Decorate it with some nice felt flowers and glue it to the top of the container,

I bought another container and with different fabric cloth and felt flowers to match it..

There you are, lovely container to storing things and it will make a lovely gift too.

Cute Ideas For Girls

A fun and cute way to jazz up your pencils

Transform your boring pencils to something cute.

Make some colourful pom pom yarn balls.  Any choice of colour that you wish to make the pom pom.

Attached to the pencils with a hot glue gun. 

If you don't like the plain colour pom pom, add some flower embellishment to it.  This will make a cute gift for someone too.

Now it's time to make something for the boys.
